3 years and counting!
Today marks 3 years of wedding bliss for Nathan and I. The road has been quite bumpy at times and we have always come through it closer than ever. We truly have been blessed to have each other to lean on. This morning he got up and made me breakfast. That was a huge surprise. Baby Hoke was very gracious for his dad's thoughtfulness.
I am looking forward to what many more years with Nathan and our family to be.

What's new
Well last week was a busy one. Our family had a lot to be Thankful for. A new family member was added and everyone was healthy and happy. Monday brought us Miss Meredith Michela Wrobleski, our princess diva!
Having Meredith around has really made Nathan anxious for BH to be here. He didn't want to give her up at the hospital. Here are a few more of our little diva.

Halloween Monterey Style
My place of work likes to celebrate anything that gives us a reason to EAT!!! We had our annual Halloween Party today. We didn't have a lot dress up but it was still fun. We had the Grim Reaper, I dream of Jeannie, Indian, 80's Punk ( that was me), High tide low Tide, Shaggy, and the best once again Frank as 300 warrior.

Names, Names, Names
Well we are still looking for boy names. I only have one name on my list so far, Asa. Nathan likes it a little but he is still thinking. Last night he said he liked Micah. I don't know if I like that but it might grow on me.
Baby Boy Hoke is really starting to move. There are times when it feels like he is just rolling and rolling and rolling. I have tried to get Nathan to feel him kick but he always stops before he gets over to me. I am starting to look at bedroom stuff. My mom and sister are getting our bed for us so that is nice. I can't decide on a theme. I got a sign last week from the Mushroom Festival that says, God bless our little cowboy. I don't know if I will do a cowboy type room but I just had to have the sign.
I go to the dr Friday for my month check up. It will be good to hear him again. We are counting down the days till we get to see him again. That will probably be around 32 weeks in 4-D.
Baby Meredith will be here before we know it. Mike, Mandi, and the boys are getting ready for her arrival.

It's a BOY!!!
Well we found out Friday that we are having a boy. Not quite what I expected but I love me some boys. I already have experience with my nephews so I think I will manage. Everything checked out with our boy. He is growing like a weed, and boy am I started to also. I made it to the gym today, hopefully that will make up for the chocolate chips cookies that I had at lunch.
I have to start all over with my baby room ideas. I had all kinds of ideas for a little girl room so back to square 1. Name hunting is also at the top of our list. My little girl was already named so to the baby book I go. I have plenty of time to change my mind 100 times so I'm in no hurry. Let the brain storming begin!

Half Way
20 wks and counting. Half way to the finish line. Man has it been a race. Nathan and I were talking the other day and trying to decide if it was gone by slow or fast. To me it has been a little of both. Nathan said it feels like he or she will never get here. I guess for us mommies we go through changes that it makes it go by quicker. I can look back and already have so many fond memories, like watching my belly grow, the first movement, and now the constant movement. Daddies don't get to be that up close to the action so soon. I am really enjoying this time right now. Baby Hoke gets very active in the afternoon. As we speak he or she is letting me know that it is down there.
After Friday no more its, he/she. We find out what we are having. I hope we get some good pics. I have started trying to get an idea for the baby room. If it is a girl I am really liking the idea of a zebra/turquoise room. I have found a lady on ebay that will make me all the stuff that I need at a really good price. If it is a boy we will go with a camo room. I had thought about camo for the girl but then I feel in love with the zebra print. I have a lot of ideas for each room just waiting to see which direction we will go.
Until Friday......

Not very funny!
Nathan and Jeff (Lauren's boyfriend) went hunting a few weeks ago. The funny guys that they are thought that they would leave a surprise for me when I went to work. Nathan even slept on the couch to hear my reaction. How he loves me so!

18 weeks
Baby Hoke is 18 weeks today. The last few weeks have been really good. I go to the dr Friday for my monthly checkup. Oct 9th is the big day. We will find out what we will be blessed with. We can't wait. We don't care what it is we are just excited about starting to buying stuff.
I have been feeling little movements for about 2 wks now. They are getting more and more noticeable. Actually as we speak he or she is moving a little. I guess he/she knows that I am talking about it. My baby bump is getting more and more noticeable. I no longer look like I'm getting fatter but actually pregnant. I'm trying to make it to the gym but I'm not doing so good. I only went twice last week. But I guess that is better than nothing. I'm trying to watch what I eat and not pig out. I don't mind gaining weight, I know that comes along with it but I don't want to go overboard. I gained 4 lbs last month and I feel like I'm not that some path this month. I think I will be okay if I keep that pace but I don't know.
I will update more later. Everyone have a great week!

14 wks, and 30 years old!
Well today marks two big events. Baby Hoke is 14 wks and I'm 30. Man do I feel old. Since getting pregnant I haven't been to the gym much. So needless to say I am not at all in shape. I cleaned alittle Sat and got sore. That is so SAD! I hope to get more energy soon and start doing some walking. I'm starting to feel a little better except for fighting a sinus infection. I think I am going to have to invest in a new pillow, Thanks Amy for the info. I'm not sleeping that good lately. I toss and turn all night. So I am probably keeping Nate up and he needs his sleep.
I'm getting excited about setting up the baby room soon. I have started looking at beds and things but haven't quite decided what I want. I have a lot of time left so I'm not getting in a hurry. It will all come together in time.

12 weeks
Tomorrow Baby Hoke will be 12wks along. The last 6 weeks have been pretty rough. Nothing I eat sits well, nothing I wear feels good, I don't even get a good nights rest. Many people have told me to hang in there that it will all be better soon. Well I hope so! I love this little thing so much but he or she is looking like an only child at this moment. If one more person tells me that they felt SOOO Good pregnant I am going to scream.
Work has been pretty stressful the last few weeks. Like I needed an more stress in my life. I have a few more busy weeks and then I am taking some time. Please pray that I'm able to get my work done without over doing myself this week.

Our New Addition!
This is our new baby. Not quite what our folks want but this was much cheaper than a baby! We have had the new boat for about a month. The first weekend we got it we took it out to Gibbons Creek and I hit a sand bar. So the baby was at the dr for the last few weeks. This past weekend we finally got to take her out again. Nathan and I had so much fun. We went to the river this time and NO sand bars. This summer is going to be a blast! Hope all our friends will come join us.

Happy Birthday Denise!
One of God's many blessings is great friends. My very special friend Denise is having a birthday today. Denise you were placed in my life many years to late so we have a lot of making up to do. I miss having you around each day. Monterey is not the same without you. I stole this pic from one of your friend's blog. I think this is so cute. This pic represents the real Denise, fun loving and cheerful. You are a joy to be around. God has blessed each person that you come in contact with. I hope you have a great day. Love ya!
