UGGG!

Well I went to the Dr today. She said that I am still at 1 cm. I was hoping for a much bigger number! Caleb will be here Wed 24th unless he comes on his own. My due date is actually Monday. Not sure what he is thinking. Is he like his Daddy and doesn't like the cold weather, so he'd rather stay in Mommy? Does he think that he is better off where he is? (I don't think I'll be a bad Mommy). Is he scared of all his rowdy cousins that can't wait for him to get here? Who knows.

I'm still working and said I would until I deliver, but I'm rethinking that. I think if I make it to Friday then that will be my last day. That way I can take it easy those last few days.

I hope my next post will be pics of Caleb but we will have to see.

Count Down Begins

We are starting to count down! Only 11 days till my due date. I still don't think I will make it but who knows. I went to the dr yesterday and there is a little progress. I'm not feeling that good today but I don't know if that means anything. I'm ready for him now but I can wait a few more days.

Caleb's room is ready! I will take some pics tonight and post tomorrow.

I see the light!

So today I'm 36 wks. I finally see the light at the end of a long tunnel. I think we have everything ready for Caleb's arrival. Yes that's right we finally have a name! Caleb Hoke. We have the room pretty much ready and have completed child birthing 101. I guess I will have to give Nathan an A+ since he did sit through the whole thing with little complaining. I have had several showers and have gotten a lot of great gifts. I will post a few of the pics later.

I'm on weekly Dr's visits now and go back Friday. I hope to have more info to post after that apt.

More Meredith

Baby Hoke 4D

Thursday we had our 4D ultra-sound. It was great to see him again. We can't really tell who he looks like but we do know that he is very handsome! 9 more weeks to go and we will have him in our arms.

3 years and counting!

Today marks 3 years of wedding bliss for Nathan and I. The road has been quite bumpy at times and we have always come through it closer than ever. We truly have been blessed to have each other to lean on. This morning he got up and made me breakfast. That was a huge surprise. Baby Hoke was very gracious for his dad's thoughtfulness.

I am looking forward to what many more years with Nathan and our family to be.
