14 wks, and 30 years old!

Well today marks two big events. Baby Hoke is 14 wks and I'm 30. Man do I feel old. Since getting pregnant I haven't been to the gym much. So needless to say I am not at all in shape. I cleaned alittle Sat and got sore. That is so SAD! I hope to get more energy soon and start doing some walking. I'm starting to feel a little better except for fighting a sinus infection. I think I am going to have to invest in a new pillow, Thanks Amy for the info. I'm not sleeping that good lately. I toss and turn all night. So I am probably keeping Nate up and he needs his sleep.

I'm getting excited about setting up the baby room soon. I have started looking at beds and things but haven't quite decided what I want. I have a lot of time left so I'm not getting in a hurry. It will all come together in time.

12 weeks

Tomorrow Baby Hoke will be 12wks along. The last 6 weeks have been pretty rough. Nothing I eat sits well, nothing I wear feels good, I don't even get a good nights rest. Many people have told me to hang in there that it will all be better soon. Well I hope so! I love this little thing so much but he or she is looking like an only child at this moment. If one more person tells me that they felt SOOO Good pregnant I am going to scream.

Work has been pretty stressful the last few weeks. Like I needed an more stress in my life. I have a few more busy weeks and then I am taking some time. Please pray that I'm able to get my work done without over doing myself this week.

Take me out to the Ball game!

Lauren had the bright idea to take the boys to see as Astros games. I thought what the heck that will be fun. Well lets just say I don't think we will be running off and buying season tickets anytime soon. We timed it so that we would get there right as the game was starting. Lauren made the mistake last time her and Reece whet and got there during batting practice so about an hour into the game he was ready to go. I wish we would have made it that long. Here is a pic of what was going on at the top of the 2nd Inning!

Yes I said TOP of 2nd Inning! The DS was already out. Good thinking Ernie to pack them, but 2nd Inning. I looked and Lauren and said we paid $45 a piece for these tickets and they are playing DS. I messed up and told them that they were have fireworks after the game so guess what we had to stay the whole time. Much like most of the Astro games it was pretty uneventful. In about the 5th inning I was getting asked when it was going to be over. I had to break the news that it had a long time left. The boys starting getting very restless, this was getting on Ernie's last nerve. She tried to be so sweet, she bought them any and everything to try to get them to sit still. But like most stuff there it was full of sugar. This only gave them more energy. About 10:30 we decided that we would try to leave. That didn't work. They hadn't seen fireworks yet. I got a evil look from La and a "Thanks Tia" for saying something about fireworks. We finally got to see the fireworks, it was worth it and the boys loved them. They both fell asleep on the way home. When I carried Reece to Lauren 's car he opened his eyes and said, "Tia I had a great time". That made me forget about the last 7 hrs. Funny how kids can do that.

Memorial Day 09

We spent Memorial Day on the water with family and friends. We had a blast. Poor Nathan he was the only boy but he toughed it out. It was the first time wake boarding for Kristen. She had beginners luck and did fine. This was Lauren's second time out and she picked it up and is ready for flips next time.

Here are a few pics from the day.

Our New Addition!

This is our new baby. Not quite what our folks want but this was much cheaper than a baby! We have had the new boat for about a month. The first weekend we got it we took it out to Gibbons Creek and I hit a sand bar. So the baby was at the dr for the last few weeks. This past weekend we finally got to take her out again. Nathan and I had so much fun. We went to the river this time and NO sand bars. This summer is going to be a blast! Hope all our friends will come join us.

Let's go Lastros, I mean Astros

Arely invited Larry, Elena, and I to an Astros games. The games was later in the afternoon so we decided to meet up early and make a whole day of it. Our good friend Brandy is getting married and we needed a new dress for the occasion. We decided to stop by the Dress Barn. That was my first shopping experience there. I am not much of a dress person but they have a great selection. I found several to try on and finally found the prefect one. Next we stopped and got something to eat and then it was off the Sam Moon's. If you haven't been to Sam Moon you must go. It is an experience. That was the first time for Arely, Elena, and Larry. I think Larry was scared of a fight breaking out so he was on guard. Not quite sure what I went in for but I came out with some earrings, a wallet, a necklace, and a tie for the hubby. Finally it was on to the game. It was a pretty good game. The Astros lost, not that I would have expected anything different but it was fun. Don't get me wrong I like the Astros but I have yet to be at a game that they have won. I guess I'm bad luck. The game lasted about 5 hours. It was finally over in the 11th. I think it was too long for the first timers Larry and Elena. They were more than ready to go home. We got home about 12:30 am, long day but a blast! We must do again soon. Here are a few pics from our outing.

this last pic is Pudge getting kicked out of the game. That was fun to watch, he was very mad!
